Thanks for taking some time to find out more about First Southern. We’re really glad you are here!

We offer two styles of worship services. One is a more traditional feel with fewer instruments and a blend of hymns and other classic songs of faith. The second service is more progressive blending newer mainstream songs with more instrumentation giving it a modern feel. The message remains the same, though. God loves you and has a very exciting plan for your life.

During each Worship hour, we have small group Bible studies that are designed to build Biblical depth into your spiritual life while offering you the opportunity to communicate and fellowship with people in the same lifestage as you. During the first hour, we have semester based LifeGroups which offer both focused studies and open groups. During the second Worship Service, the LifeGroups are traditional and classic.

Sunday evening schedule tends to change throughout the year with focused small group Bible studies for all ages and opportunities for ministry and service.

Wednesday evening has a strong focus on children and students. Those groups break out with their own services and activities. First Southern has divisions for Preschoolers, Grade School Ages, Middle School and High School. Adults have a prayer service and the music ministry rehearses and prepares for corporate worship on Sunday.

It’s all about LifeChange here! We believe that the Christian life is an experience and that we’re always striving to be closer to Christ (Philippians 3:12).
